From Refugee Camps to Classrooms: Teaching Through Limits, Learning Without Them
From dusty roads in Myanmar to schools in Madrid, RoboReach became something far beyond a robotics class — it became a global exchange of curiosity and kindness. Between 2018 and 2025, our team taught over 2,000 students in underserved communities across Taiwan, Myanmar, Thailand, Spain, and the U.S.
What left the deepest mark on me was Myanmar. The schools had no reliable water or electricity, but the students had more hunger for learning than I had ever seen. Every morning, they walked 30 minutes just to fetch water for us — so we could cook, shower, and teach. In return, we shared what we knew. They sang and danced for us. We built circuits in candlelight. It reminded me: even in the hardest places, joy and learning find a way.
